Who's behind AngelTrack?
AngelTrack was created by a group of like-minded Angel Investors who wanted to make a positive difference in the early-stage investment scene.
David Pearce and Darren Shaw are both active Angel Investors with a shared passion for supporting growing tech companies. However, they also shared common frustrations with the way things were - there had to be a better way that left Founders and Angles feeling more connected and informed.
After searching the market for a tool that could do the job, it became apparent that there was no such solution available - so we changed that! David began to create a piece of software to help keep his portfolio organised, whilst simultaneously helping his Founders to better manage the Cap Table.
AngelTrack was originally created to be used internally by Darren, David and the rest of their close-knit group of Angel Investors. Before long, it was clear that AngelTrack was able to provide a simple solution to all of the challenges faced by Angels and Founders alike, so in 2023 it was released to the rest of the Angel community and early-stage Founders in the UK.

As an investor, I also believe that founders can get a lot more out of their investor community than physical money. I wrote Angel Track to solve both of these problems, as I passionately believe in the power of Angels and Startups to create opportunity and fuel local and national economies."
